I guess maybe it would be less shocking in another culture. but here in the United states women don’t usually murder their children if they are the wrong gender. So I guess that increased the shock and horror of it as well. Story was great, can’t get over the murderer though. I mean she got away with it the first time why try again.
Also, the ending was sad as hell too. Having the son die too. but the made it come across like karma. I get he turned his back on his mom, but really, you don’t know what his dad fooled with his head. Honestly, I think the dad orchestrated the whole thing and walked away sneaking like roses, but she’s just as guilty for committing the act.
