This latest installment takes us deeper into hardships faced by Jason and friends. It also takes us a bit more into how he meets his challenges and what the darkness means for him. Though certainly not a good place to start the series, it is an excellent continuation for those familiar with the earlier books. It will leave you eagerly awaiting the next book. Highly recommended, just be sure to start with book one.
David Stifel continues his solid performance of the previous books, doing well with conveying feeling in the dialogue.
