Although obscene language is fairly true to Navy conversation, the over-thd-top use of one word to describe everything in every situation became distracting. the story would have flown just as well and been more effective with milder expletives.
As a fan of Serenity and a Sci-fi fan,I followed the adventures with pleasure. The narrator was excellent. Plots and subplots, with unexpected twists, along with some recognizable foreshadowing made listening addictive.
