At first I was a little lost in the story until I realized I was getting a full history of Houston & it’s origination. Amazing how the police force has changed & their reactions from 40 yrs ago regarding missing persons (especially children). It was heartbreaking to listen to the story, but even more shocking & shattered my world when they talked about the sheer number of bodies in the gravesites. Unbelievable! Heart wrenching to think those parents knew something was wrong, but the police treated them all as run-aways. Very sad. Excellent book, excellent research, and once again, Kevin Pierce nails the narration. Two thumbs up!
