I was taken aback by the somewhat sensual opening between the main character and his lover. I don’t read book for a 50 shades’ type of entertainment…
Having said that, I pushed onward and discovered a somewhat unique take on vampires and the vampire hunter trope.
The story and narrator was both mediocre to me, but I may give another of the author’s works a try as the action scenes were well done.
