In order for me to rate a book it must be amazing or truly horrific. This book falls into the later. Hyped as a Firefly (one of the greatest TV shows ever) like book full of action and daring. I found this book to be dull, with shallow character arcs that are predictable and boring. The transitions in this book are laughable (some sort synthesized “spacy” noise) that make the book feel like the writer just got bored writing that particular segment and just stopped. After 8 grueling hours of “Dear God this book has to get better” I simply gave up right in the middle of Esther’s you are going to Hell speech if you don’t help these people. Worst book I have ever gotten from audible.
