This is one amazing book. The pace was rapid. The dialog intense. Ms. Winkes told this story from the viewpoint of 2 women, jumping back and forth in time. She managed to pull me in immediately and keep me turning pages.
Such a nefarious prospect. The evils of the antagonists in this story are truly horrifying. It seems so real and possible. So timely to our current political climate.
The protagnists are admirable. I wanted to be Dani, trying to rescue Paige. Just enough detail.
A wonderful book. I can’t wait to get my hands on more of Ms. Winkes books.
Ms. Richards provides a unique voice for each character.
