This book was absolute perfection! I didn’t realize it, but I listened to this one before book 1, obviously not paying attention. I caught up pretty quickly, but you definitely want to listen or read book 1 first. This story is an emotional one. Derek and Mia’s connection was evident from the first time they met and seeing them discover how deep their connection really went, especially Mia was heartwarming.
LJ Evans did a great job of bring these characters to life for me. I felt like I was there experiencing every emotion with them. Her characters are also very relatable. She did such a great job telling the story that it left me wanting more!
Sarah Puckett did an awesome job narrating. I’m fairly new to audiobooks, but I feel as though she did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life and hit every emotion perfectly.
