Since this series is an absolute must read, you don’t want to spoil it for yourself.
I fell head over heels in love with Derek and Mia when this book first came out in print, but Sarah Puckett killed this narration and made me fall in love all over again! Everything about this is absolute perfection.
Derek and Mia are the kind of characters that stick with you. They both have so many layers to discover along the way, but I loved them through their entire journey. They are both amazing on their own, but together they are absolutely incredible. Their connection was evident from the very beginning, and watching them discover just how deep that connection ran kept me engaged from beginning to end. It was a delight to watch them fall. They have the kind of love you root for and long to see succeed.
LJ Evans is a master storyteller. Her stories bring all the feels. Her books are completely believable, and her characters are so well crafted they feel like your best friends. I absolutely love the way I get completely lost in the worlds she creates, and I miss the characters once I have finished.
I can’t say enough about what an amazing job Sarah Puckett does narrating this series. I am a very picky listener, but I have absolutely no complaints. She brought these characters I adore to life. The emotion was spot on, and her narration was perfect from the pacing to the inflection to the accents.
