When I read the description for this book I was excited but a bit hesitant. It looked like it would be a fun read but I was worried it would be some generic story with pointless action. I was thankfully wrong. The story (while somewhat similar to other sci fi stories) was interesting and I enjoyed the different elements of it.
I liked the characters in this book more than I was expecting and how they interact with each other became one of my favorite parts of the book.
And probably one of my favorite things about the book, the narration. I loved travis’s voice, the older and kind of raspy voice he can do for some of the characters was one of the most enjoyable voices I’ve heard in a while. It fit perfectly with many of the characters and it made the book better because of it.
Overall I would recommend getting this book. It has a pretty good story and some great narration, good characters and you wont find yourself feeling bored while listening to this. I just started downloading the second book in the series and am very excited to see how this series continues!!
