I found myself conflicted while reading this. I love the setting and story, but the author has a habit that I found jarring.
He uses the word “female” excessively, and tends to treat the women of their clan as sexual objects to be possessed.
I love this story, and think I will buy the second book. I just wish it didn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth to do so.
