First of all, I discovered this book because I kept seeing the ads on social media. Most of the time, when I see an ad, I ignore it. the tagline, like Firefly with wizards, seemed like a cop-out. After ignoring the ad for months, I finally caved and started reading comments. Then I went to the Audible page and started reading reviews. And hey, I found out the narrator was someone who I actually like! So I spent a credit…and I got sucked right in. To the people who said things were out of order, check the eight part download. Each one contains the number of the part in the description. The story was massive. The narrator was fantastic. The only part I found annoying was not the fault of the author or narrator, but merely a function of the app. I had more than enough room for the entire download, plus six other audio books, AND I had the multipart download disabled. I was overridden by the app. So, while it was annoying that it was split into parts and interrupted by audible, it was a worth a credit. if this massive omnibus hadn’t been available, I would’ve bought at least smaller bundles. Too bad its not available cheaper in kindle. I think my dad and brother would enjoy it too.
