This story takes you on an emotional journey about the deep friendship that two children share that develops into love. Cam and Jake have grown up next to each, are best friends and do everything together. He was three years older and as they became teenagers Cam was jealous of every girl he kissed or showed affection to as she believed that he belonged only to her.
As they grew up the three year difference doesn’t become so important and the feelings between them blossom into a love that will take your breath away.
The only problem is that life is not always fair and it’s how you handle what life throws at you that shows your true strength and resilience. This is a story that will break your heart but also gives you hope, and I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. The narrator did a wonderful job at bringing this emotional story to life.
