I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
So, this is definitely one of those books that you need to go in with realistic expectations. Looking at the cover, and reading the synopsis, I expected an action packed, but simple story line. I DIDN’T expect deep literature and complex characters. I got exactly what I was expecting and I enjoyed the hell out of it! Talon is a badass barbarian warrior in space. I thought Travis Baldree did a great job on the narration. This was a fun listen. As long as you can appreciate a good action flick type of story, you’ll dig this one. I’ll definitely look for more in this series.
