I was given this audiobook from the author for an honest review.
Conan he is not.
Flash Gordon he is not.
This was just a macho character with a mysterious past that he has to discover with a ragtag group of members. Also, had has to save the universe and stop being a slave.
Honestly, I just couldn’t get into the story, and the narrator did not help with that. Talon sounded like a gruff pirate, and there were times I almost couldn’t tell who was talking when he was switching between characters.
It’s an okay one time listen, but after that it’s going back on the digital shelf to collect dust.
