This was an excellent listen!! The murder mystery takes place within the backdrop of a comic book and coffee store with friends who have known each other since middle school. It was well-written and created a very real aspect of small-town life.

When the murder occurs, friends old and new come into the picture. We get a glimpse of what happened to them since high school. That was a nice addition to the cozy mystery genre.

What elevates this book though, is the narration. Kafer is next level. His delivery is smooth and effortless. I seriously can listen to him all day.

The big reveal at the end, though not spectacular, was a nice I-did-not-see-that-coming. I loved it!!
