Kinsley has stayed in a very abusive relationship in order to protect her sick father. When she learns that he has died, she escapes with the help of some very unexpected volunteers and now friends. She begins a new life but is in fear of her abusive husband finding her. For this reason she doesn’t get involved in any romantic relationships until she meets a very persistent Ashton. She hides the truth from Ashton but finds in him a love she never felt possible. But when he finds out that she has been lying to him all this time, can he forgive her.
The narrator does a excellent job of bringing out the passions involved in this story.
I received this Audible book in exchange for an honest review. I highly recommend this passionate story. It is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Kinsley is emotionally scarred and finds in Ashton a man that she can love. She also finds a loyal group of friends.
