I toughed it out and listened to the whole book, hoping that it would take a turn that I wasn’t expecting. It did, in that the book didn’t get any less predictable at all.
The characters are two dimensional at best, underdeveloped and overused. Every single one of them is a trope without a lick of difference from any other mindcandy Sci-Fi story or tv episode.
It’s just bad really. I mean, it Lille’s some time listening to it? But there is nothing at all memorable about this. It’s so bad I actually feel compelled to write this review. Spend your credits elsewhere.
The narrator tries really hard to bring what he can, but there is only so much you can do with material like this.
