This series took me by surprise. I expected a slow start and a big finish. Well, there wasn’t much time to relax! Following the journey of Marcus Battle, a decorated hero in numerous engagements, this story gets in deep and hits you right in the gut. Without spoiling, the writer and narrator do a great job of making you become emotionally involved with the characters. Their triumphs and defeats take you on a eoller coaster ride the whole way through.
