It’s a good story, with fun and interesting characters. What makes me lower my rating is the somewhat sloppy use of historical facts. What fits is used, the rest unmentioned. And there are some gaps in how this particular universe fits together, how the magic works and so on.
I’m kind of fussy when it comes to building a consistent world for your story, so it probably bother me more than most.
