Destin finds love and happiness with an alien woman. They help fend off an attack on Razor and Kali, and on Earth from enemies of the Alliance.

Too bad that bad guy Primus got away. Also, there’s still much mystery about the ring, and who’s in the conspiracy; and why Jean Paul and Luc keep sending messages; and what Jarman is doing about Jane?

The main issue that bugs me is the messages to protect Destin – but we never get any specific reason why before the end of this story. Another point dangling out there.

Brenin does a really decent job of narration.
