in the end, this book felt like it cast too wide a net, and couldn’t support any topic with enough non-anecdotal evidence. It also felt a little like the authors wanted to deflect accountability for this by proclaiming that they aren’t experts in every field discussed.
That said, the thesis is sound and they paint a nice broad strokes argument for those who want an introduction to human motivators across most endeavors.
