I have read/listened to many books about psychology, motivation, mindfulness, brain health, etc. How we think and what we think about are very interesting to me. Unfortunately I did not get much out of this book – it is largely based on general observations rather than clinical studies. While I can agree with most of the premises, it falls short of providing real insights into behaviors and only surface-level recommendations/cautions. There are some interesting extrapolations to explain behaviors, but they are based purely on conjecture. I cannot recommend this book.
