I never thought I’d leave a positive review with a headline like “funny and crude with constant action.” This book sounded like I’d enjoy it, and I did, but not quite in the way I expected. The humor was more crude than I expected, but the way Jeremy Robinson presents it is really visual, like physical comedy in a movie. It is often gross, but it always seemed purposeful and well used, rather than being crude for crude’s sake. This book was so different from the other book by Robinson that I read and enjoyed, “Infinite,” but I enjoyed it just as much, in a completely different way.

The narration was excellent throughout 95% of the book, alternating between two narrators and two first person perspectives. That worked really well. There is one chapter, though, which is performed by a third narrator, and both her performance and the recording quality didn’t seem up to the level of the rest of the book.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Space Force. If there’s a book 2, I’ll probably pick it up.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
