After enjoying Jeremy Robinson’s stand-alone novel, The Others (seriously it’s one of my top favorite books so far this year), I was more than happy to snatch this book up! And, dive into another, universe, dreamed up by this amazing author…
Now this story is/was, way, way different from The Others… It’s a near future story, and it’s dead on perfect for the political climate that we have been seeing lately, starting with the name of the book, and that The Space Force is a very small branch of the U.S. military, the brainchild of the previous president. A mockumentry if you will… LOL… and the jokes fly, ranging from nods to Trevor Noah and the Daily Show, to Neil Degrasse Tyson. There’s gamer references, totally gross penis and poop jocularity… and… and I Laughed My Ass off! I also enjoyed all the times the 4th-wall-taboo was broken, especially at the end of the book!
Initially I was a little leary of the narrators, but they played well off each other and blended seamlessly into what the author wanted to create in this very funny, and at times poignant, thriller Scifi…
Go get Space Force… and GO SPACE FORCE!!!!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review…
