Robinson has knocked it out of the park with this one. Although this sounds political it’s absolutely NOT. It’s just a lot of gaming derived fun with a Space Force backdrop.
It’s jam packed with pop culture and video game references from the last 30 years. Anyone who has ever played a Battle Royale game like Fortnite, PUBG and Ring of Elysium will feel instantly at home here. In fact, it’s all of the hysterical situations you have ever been in while playing reenacted in glorious Technicolour.
This is not a book for kids though, this is a mature story with mature humour. Not offensive, just really gross… That alien shower scene… again, eeew.
