This book was recommended to me by a friend who was a part of the rescue team of one of the bear attack’s. I had been reading I Survived the Attack of the Grizzlies (kids’ novel) and I wanted a little more history behind the events. The whole story from start to finish is a tragedy for humans, for bears, for all. It was suspenseful, captivating, and sometimes horrific. It makes me appreciate our national parks for what they are now, and especially the wildlife within them.
