Kevin Pierce delivers another great performance of a true crime book. The author admits to soft-pedaling the abuse but it’s bad enough as described. It is similar to too many other such stories, but what makes it special is that it takes place during a time of change in how the legal system viewed victims of domestic violence. It’s a compelling listen.
