I absolutely love the John Pickett Mysteries audiobooks. They are always full of suspense, danger, a dose of humor, and lots of sweet romance. Quite often there is also a little moral ambivalence, and John sometimes has to choose between the strict letter of the law and what his conscience tells him is right. There are always plenty of twists, turns, and surprises so that the listener is hard-pressed to identify the true culprit until the end. Sheri Cobb South is a masterful storyteller, and I look forward to her next story.

Joel Froomkin’s narration is superb. He does an excellent job of providing unique voices for the different characters, both male and female, and his delivery is always smooth and just the right speed. He is one of my favorite narrators, no matter what the genre.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
