Okay, I LOVED this story. I thought it was pretty unique and well written. The characters were fun and likable. I am wholly invested.
HOWEVER!
My one glaring issue with this is the narrator. He’s TERRIBLE! Why the heck does he talk like that. He starts the beginning of every sentence by yelling. Everything the characters do sounds urgent and intense. It pulled me out of the story to laugh aloud often. The only redeeming quality is that he’s good at accents. But his girl voices sound like drag queens or gay boys. It’s like…cringeworthy!
Luckily, the story was enough to stand on its own and keep me listening.
