I wanted to like the story. The story line was good. I liked the idea of a female lead in an apocalypse. Unfortunately the sexism, calling women b’s, and racism ruined the story. It’s possible for an author to write a book about racist or sexist characters without being those things but it occurred so often I questioned if those were the author’s personal beliefs. Pretty much every non-white person was either a bad guy or a violent person.
