So, I have to say I really didn’t like this when I first started listening. I mean, Phil Thron is an amazing narrator, but the story was pretty weak and not nearly as funny as so many people here suggest. all that being said, I stuck with it and the first of the three books ended nicely, if predictably.

Then came the second book, and all the issues I had with the first book just disappeared. I mean, it was funny. I even laughed out loud at one part. It was dramatic. It made really start to like and care about these guys, which I really didn’t I’m the first book. And, it ended with a cliffhanger that made me hungry for the third in the series.

Ok, so the third book was … well… wow. Not going to give anything away, but just wow. Funny (never Monty Python funny, but funny none-the-less) and action packed. It was a true thrill ride and kept you at the edge of your seat. And the end… the end, well… I really wasn’t expecting what happened and I was really moved. And it’s just the beginning of a new adventure.

I’m pretty amazed that I went from blah to wow! in these three books, but it happened. You really won’t be disappointed. From the narration to the characters (after the first book, tbf) to the story, it’s going to leave you ready to buy the next in the series. Having to buy it right away!
