I really enjoyed listening to this followup to the first book. Fibble is adorable and it’s cathartic listening to PWP get their comeuppance. Soundbooth Theatre does a great job as always with multiple voice actors and nice sound effects where appropriate.
The only thing I don’t like about this story is that there is no real antagonist or challenge. PWP keeps sending easily defeated morons after the heroes and I never had any uncertainty about whether the protagonists would come out on top.
That minor complaint is more than mitigated by the interesting and well-written characters. It’s certainly a well-written novel and I strongly recommend it.
