I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This was surprisingly good. I had 2 big reservations going in. The first was that this was the 4th book in a series and I was worried Id’ be totally lost. I’ll admit that there were some pieces of the story I didn’t fully understand (mostly backstory stuff) but I still followed what was currently happening and enjoyed the story. That leads me to the other reservation I had, which is balance. Knowing this is classified as Romance Erotica, there is always a large chance that there won’t be anything but sex and relationship angst. Thankfully, the author does a good job of balancing that stuff (and there was certainly a good portion of it) with action (of the non-sexual variety) and actual story line. The narration by Sarah Puckett is very well done. She does a great job of providing voices for characters and making the story engaging.
