I enjoyed the game elements, but the IRL story just annoyed me. I would have preferred the story stay in the game and focus on the conflicts within.
The MC makes clever decisions, finding creative solutions to difficult conflicts, and he isn’t overpowered. Some of the side characters have tiresome and sometimes grating personalities, but they are consistent and read like real people.
