Sheri Cobb South’s John Pickett series is one of my favorite. I enjoy the rich characters, mystery, romance and wit the author creates in her writings. I didn’t expect to find a series which would challenge one of my all-time favorite listens Elizabeth Peter’s Amelia Peabody series, but I have indeed. Sheri Cobb South’s writings (John Pickett series and Weaver series) are on par with Ms. Peter’s and I can’t wait for more!
As always, Mr. Froomkin’s performance is brilliant. I am just as enamored with the tender-hearted Mr. John Pickett. With each book Ms. Cobb South writes, I fall even more under Mr. Pickett’s spell. Mr. Froomkin picks up on every little detail of our main cast and delivers an amazing listening experience. Thank you!
