I’m a big fan of LitRPG and have listened to many of these stories. OtherLife is a well written addition to the genre, but perhaps outpaced by its peers such as The Land and Way of the Shaman. The story is interesting and incorporates a unique use of AI. I couldn’t help but notice the author using the storyline to play out what feels like a teenage fantasy of many woman losing themselves to the main character, relying on his goodwill and protection, with a harem of sorts being established. This may be the only obvious plot issue that could pull the listener out of the story.
