This is the slowest developing story I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I’d rather read a day by day account of Methuselah’s nap. Nothing happens until chapter 20. TWENTY. It was 7 hours of crap. I had to take a break to write this. The only reason I trudge on is because I used money on it. Lesson learned. It’s an EXTREMELY preachy, unrealistic story that is hard for the most open minded to give credit to. The narration combined with the story line and child-like dialogue reminds me of Winnie the Pooh doing a voice over on a script of an Uber-Christian themed episode of “Hey Jessie”. I’m just going to learn my lesson, cut my losses and ditch the rest of the story. I’ll go find myself another Nicholas Sansbury Smith book.
