Esper and Kubu are at it again: galavanting across the galaxy, helping those in need.
This time, however, Esper and Kubu are in need. in need of a place to lay low away from the Convocation.
Her mentor Keisha Bell sends Esper to stay with her brother (also a wizard on the naughty list!) and the stay ends up being anything but a simple trip to a remote paradise.
It’s a paradise planet with a small-town vibe, and filled with bullies if you are an “Off-Worlder”.
By now you know how Esper feels about bullies…
There are surprises and twists inside those surprises. This is a quick listen (or a short read) and like all the best of J.S. Morin’s works, I am eagerly awaiting the next one.
