First of all, this is not a bad book, as such. Soundbooth Theater delivers excellent narration as always and the writing is competent. But if you’re a guy who expects logic and reason to dictate the flow of events, this really isn’t the book for you. Shoot the Messenger is heavy on the romance and doesn’t offer much else.
