Good third book, excellent audio performance!

I will start with the performance on this one. You know those songs you hear on the radio or somewhere random and you automatically go, “Hey, that’s a really good song, I’ve gotta know who sings it.” Well, that’s how this performance hit me. There are parts throughout that are so well done that they have stuck with me well after I listened to it. The transitions between characters are seamless and not jerky like a lot of other books I’ve listened to. The performance got me through an otherwise “meh” book.

It really won’t make sense until you listen to it, but there is a part with a metal clang and a goat/satyr bleat that I think of at least five times a day and always brings a smile to my face.

If you are a fan of the first two books I think you will not be disappointed with this one. There is a lot of good action and adventure. There is sex, and a rape scene where I like some others have not exactly been a fan of and wish there could have been a different option chose. For that part.

Otherwise it is a fun LitRPG novel, Boxxy is a unique MC and Fizzy’s character starts to evolve. I’d recommend it for the narration alone.
