Good prepper novel. Could also have been headlined DOING IS BETTER THAN READING…John discovered doing not the same as reading, for example he thought he knew how to set a snare because he had read how to do it, but caught nothing until a companion showed him how. John had a college degree and a computer job, but his companion, who appeared lowly, had knowledge and experience crucial to John’s survival.
Entertaining while extolling practical skills.
John’s wife made enough good decisions to keep her kids safe.
I am going to listen to this again, probably several times.
I recommend this book.
