If you were a protagonist that is from 2015 that gets transported from earth into a new fantasy world, then you proceeded save people from being killed and those same people you saved treated you like crap and wanted to kill you, what would you do? Any normal person would tell them off and just walk away I hope? NOT begin to travel with them, trust them not to kill you while you sleep and not fall head over heels for one of the people within a HOUR of the G.D. audio!!
The MC must be really damn desperate and or the Author is catering to someone and made them said person that was saved.
