How often do we get books from the monsters point of view? Almost never, and when we do it tends to be some kind of humanoid and usually isn’t all too interesting.

The story revolves around a mimic (the box) and the author does a rather amazing job of putting you into the mindset of said box. There is no disconnect like you may experience if you were listening to a story of an animal or something and your unable to understand how or why the box does and thinks what it does.

The comedy is there and not over done, the action is good, and the creativity is awesome.

I love both the author and narrator, 10 out 10 for both.
