I really enjoyed books 1 and 2 so I was looking forward to this one too. It was hurt a lot by a lull early on. The best parts made this a worthy addition to the series. Several times though I found myself thinking Vortena was “good enough” rather than “good.” Although I’m glad I listened to it, I’m probably done with this series now.
The narration was as perfect as ever, if not better. Jeff Hays has never let me down so far.
