The author does some things which I find annoying. He re-writes lines in deferent ways and it feels like book filler to me as it adds nothing to the character or to the story in general. Another annoyance is the battles them selves. Most of the battle tactics seem only half thought out and a little drawn to make a statement rather then to showcase a characters command talent.
All in all it is a good book to listen too though and the performance is pretty good.
