Homestead: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale of Human Survival (After the Pulse Book 1) was a good read by L. Douglas Hogan. It has been two years since the Pulse shut down the power grid. Darrick, his wife and their son return to Darrick’s childhood home. Darrick must make peace with his brother and sick father in order to survive with his family. I thought this was a great read and can’t wait to read more in this series.
