Overall this box set was an enjoyable experience. They story itself was good. The characters in the book were solid. The narrators are both excellent. Jeff Hays is one of the best in the business and really drives home the performance. Annie Ellicott does an excellent job acting the female characters in the story.
The story itself while nothing ground breaking was overall very good and an enjoyable listen. There were some good laughs. Great action, a splash of romance and some feels all in one package. The books feel into a slight pattern in terms of flow and by the end you can predict most of whats going to happen. which is the reason I gave story 4/5.
Performance wise excellent all around. Soundbooth is top notch as always. 5/5.
Overall I would recommend this series if your looking for that LitRpg fix. 5/5.
