This is the story of a fairly average family on the the eastern seaboard. They go away for vacation and relax. It’s anything but relaxing as the world falls apart for them. A event happens and it forces them to struggle to survive and escape . How? Where?
The characters are well rounded and believable. Some are good, the majority are somewhere in the middle. They type that want to be left alone and mind their own business. The ones when your car is broken down just drive by and don’t even bother making eye contact. The bad ones are really bad. They type that become criminals and are very dark. I mean really bad news. Yes they run into those too.
So what happened ? How do they survive.? I won’t tell. Give it a listen it’s a good tale of survival.
