I loved Lucas and Maddie, there is such a sweet history between the two of them. Not what I’d typically call a second chance romance, since they’ve never actually dated before, it did still have the feel of a couple re-finding each other.
A couple of great twists made things far from smooth sailing and helped make this sweet romance a lot of fun to listen to. The book is well written and the emotions of the characters come alive on the page, what they felt, I felt.
The character voices are very well done, easily recognizable they matched the characters accents and personalities. Great delivery, it was dynamic and carried the emotions of the scenes.
